The four risk levels

🛡️ Safe

100% success · +1 star

Guaranteed, free of Bronze cost. The backbone of every gear plan — five duplicates in, one stronger item out, every time.

⚔️ Brave

10% success · +2 stars

Stakes Bronze (10× the base rate) for a double jump and doubled forge XP. A calculated gamble when duplicates are cheap.

🔥 Heroic

1% success · +5 stars

A full level in one hit — and 10× forge XP. Expensive (100× stake) and rarely lands, but spectacular when it does.

💀 Insane

0.1% success · +20 stars

Four levels at once, 100× forge XP, 200× stake. For players who enjoy the story more than the odds.

On a failed gamble the staked Bronze is gone — the five items are consumed either way. The forge screen shows the exact stake and outcome before you commit.

Forging strategy

Early game: Safe-forge everything. Guaranteed progress beats odds while every star matters.
Mid game: Safe-forge your main set; Brave-forge surplus duplicates of gear you don't wear.
Late game: check the player market first — sometimes buying the finished piece is cheaper than forging it.
Always: forge the elements you actually fight with. A +2-tier counter set beats a higher-tier neutral one.
